Phi Phi hotel prices run from about $30 a night for a basic room to more than $190 for a five-star resort, and the price is not the only thing that changes. Phi Phi has no cars, so each hotel comes with its own way of reaching it: a walk from the pier, a short longtail ride, or a resort speedboat. This guide compares 25 properties by area, budget and guest score, so you can pick one that fits your trip.
Prices come from Expedia, which showed nightly rates for two adults on 30 and 31 October 2026, and guest scores come from the Booking.com resort list. Area details draw on Phuket 101, Breathing Travel and The Broke Backpacker. Late October is low season, so rates in December to February are much higher. All figures change by date, so treat them as a way to compare, not as quotes.

Expedia lists two pools, two restaurants and a full-service spa, with a 9.2 score from 486 reviews at $192. How to Book a Phi Phi Hotel: Tips and Transfers
Choose the area first
Our guide to where to stay in Phi Phi explains how each area feels. Then narrow to two or three hotels.
Check the transfer
Ask whether the hotel includes a pier pick-up, a longtail or a speedboat. ThailandBoatTickets says resorts often provide free pier transfers.
Compare two sites
Prices and scores differ between Booking.com and Expedia, so compare the same dates on both before you pay.
Book early for peak months
December to February is the busiest and most expensive stretch. Choose a flexible rate if you can.
Plan your arrival
Take a ferry that lands in daylight. Our guides to Phuket to Phi Phi and Krabi to Phi Phi explain the crossing, and the Phi Phi island ferry page covers the boats.

Plan around the weather too. From May to October the sea can be rough, which matters for boat-only properties, while rates are lower. Our guide to the best time to visit Phi Phi gives the details, and our Koh Phi Phi guide covers the rest of the trip.
