Than Sadet: The National Park Among the Koh Phangan Waterfalls

Thai Holiday Guide describes Than Sadet National Park as a 2.5 km river running through the jungle, with several waterfalls and rock pools, plus a trail that follows the river inland. It is open daily from 08:30 to 16:00 and costs 100 baht for foreign adults and 50 baht for children, cash only. The park is a short ride from Thong Nai Pan Yai, and the guide suggests showing the Thai-script address to a taxi or Grab driver.

The park also has a carved boulder near the river estuary that local tradition links to King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), who visited in 1888, and a small beach at the river mouth with a few bars and guesthouses. The pools are deep enough for swimming, but rip currents can form at the river-mouth beach, so check the flags. Thai Holiday Guide recommends a weekday morning, before organised ATV groups arrive.

There is no fee except parking, and you reach the natural pools by walking a little upstream. Wang Sai: The Hidden One Among Koh Phangan Waterfalls

Wang Sai Waterfall is at the northwest tip of the island, in the village before Mae Haad Beach and Koh Ma, as part of Wang Sai Adventure Park. You pass the bar on the left and walk through the jungle to multi-level natural pools where you can swim a little. Home Is Where Your Bag Is calls it the least visited of the Koh Phangan waterfalls because of its hidden location, and says it is usually worth a visit only in the rainy season.
