Ban Tai Beach on the south coast, where beachfront Koh Phangan restaurants serve seafood at sunset
Ban Tai Beach, home of several beachfront restaurants.

The best Koh Phangan restaurants fall into three groups: cheap market food in Thong Sala, seafood on the beach in Ban Tai, and a handful of upscale or vegan places spread around the coast. The island has no single food district, so the right choice depends on where you are staying.

This guide names Koh Phangan restaurants that two or more of our sources list, with the area, the cuisine and what each is known for. It draws on Culture Trip, a food guide from Eclipse Hostel and Thai Holiday Guide's overview, all read on 6 November 2026. Restaurants open, close and change menus, so check the current hours before you go.
