The best Koh Phangan restaurants fall into three groups: cheap market food in Thong Sala, seafood on the beach in Ban Tai, and a handful of upscale or vegan places spread around the coast. The island has no single food district, so the right choice depends on where you are staying.

It draws on Culture Trip, a food guide from Eclipse Hostel and Thai Holiday Guide's overview, all read on 6 November 2026. Restaurants open, close and change menus, so check the current hours before you go.
